Sunday Brunch star Tim Lovejoy had to apologise for bad language on the popular Channel 4<\/a> programme, but left his celebrity panel baffled.<\/p>\n

On today\u2019s programme (Sunday, 5th April), Tim and his co-host Simon Rimmer<\/a> were joined by a panel of stars that included singer Arlo Parks, actress Frances Barber, and TV personality Tasha Ghouri<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Also on the show this week was Geordie Shore<\/a> icon Vicky Pattison, rugby union star Ellie Kildunne, and EastEnders<\/a>\u2019 Kellie Shirley.<\/p>\n

The latest episode had already started with an apology from Tim as he revealed Tasha was running late to the start of the show.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, the Love Island<\/a> star arrived just in time to enjoy the majority of today\u2019s show.<\/p>\n

Later on in the programme, before they sat down to interview actress Frances about her new one-woman stage show MUSIK, Tim started the segment with an apology.<\/p>\n

\u201cWelcome back to Sunday Brunch, we\u2019re live, we\u2019re on Channel 4,\u201d he began.<\/p>\n

\u201cBefore we move on, just to say sorry if you were offended by any language that you might have heard before the break.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, it wasn\u2019t clear what language Tim was referring to and it was obvious the guests were quite confused, too.<\/p>\n

Vicky even turned to fellow guest Kellie, seemingly asking if Tim was apologising for something she had said.<\/p>\n

During Tim and Simon\u2019s interview with Frances, the producers tactfully avoided the need for another apology.<\/p>\n

They shared a family-friendly clip of her performance in MUSIK, a musical-comedy that shines a light on the perils of fame in which she stars as fictional pop diva Billie Trix.<\/p>\n

Frances admitted: \u201cThey can\u2019t show you the rude bits\u201d, and Tim laughed and agreed: \u201cIt\u2019s Sunday morning and I\u2019d have to apologise!\u201d<\/p>\n

Comedian Sam Campbell recently apologised for letting out a strong expletive (Image: E4)<\/p>\n

The latest apology on the series comes just three weeks after comedian Sam Campbell let slip a swear word on the live broadcast.<\/p>\n

Revealing he had brought in a robot toy, Sam retrieved a remote control hand that he swiftly dropped on the floor, letting out a \u201cf***\u201d.<\/p>\n

He was immediately warned by Simon \u201cmoderate your language by the way\u201d and Sam apologised: \u201cSorry about that.”<\/p>\n
