{"id":514982,"date":"2026-04-05T23:35:07","date_gmt":"2026-04-05T23:35:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/514982\/"},"modified":"2026-04-05T23:35:07","modified_gmt":"2026-04-05T23:35:07","slug":"camera-club-pub-glowing-in-sunshine-is-photo-of-the-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/514982\/","title":{"rendered":"Camera club: Pub glowing in sunshine is photo of the week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  That was our latest weekly theme, and it prompted club members to post a series of striking photos taken in Oxford, across Oxfordshire and beyond.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  A popular choice was stained glass windows at lots of different churches and cathedrals.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxfordmail.co.uk\/news\/25990226.new-witney-cafe-opening-date-announced-next-week\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">READ MORE: New cafe opening date announced<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  It was, as usual, difficult to pick a winner for photo of the week but in the end we selected Lesley Tilson\u2019s picture of a pub on the coast, glowing in the sunshine.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Each week, members are given a theme and then post their photos on the club\u2019s Facebook page.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  A selection of photos are then featured in the Oxford Mail, The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theoxfordtimes.net\/?ref=au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Oxford Times<\/a> and online, and one photo is chosen as the photo of the week.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  For more information about camera club and how to join visit the club\u2019s Facebook page.
