Casemiro\u2019s behind-the-scenes \u2018secret\u2019 for staying \u2018calm\u2019 shows the Manchester United and Brazil midfielder is not entirely different from teammate Senne Lammens.<\/p>\n

The five-time Champions League winner will bow out of Old Trafford<\/a> in the summer transfer window once Casemiro\u2019s Manchester United contract expires<\/a> in June.<\/p>\n

The former Royal Antwerp ace has been highly praised for his commanding presence in the Man Utd box and calming aura between the sticks for the Red Devils.<\/p>\n

Casemiro, much like Red Devils summer signing Lammens, has shown his abundance of experience from his midfield role when it comes to being calm.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Manchester United\u2019s official website<\/a>, the 34-year-old Brazilian midfielder broke down what he feels is the \u2018secret\u2019 behind being calm under pressure.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe work day-to-day,\u201d Casemiro said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe work you do every day will always pay off. So, when you work every day, it is true [that] football is played by 11, but there are 20 in the squad, so it doesn\u2019t just depend on you.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut when you do your work, in the end it will always pay off.\u201d<\/p>\n

Casemiro has netted seven times and registered two assists in his 30 matches across all competitions amid being a key United first-team<\/a> player for Michael Carrick<\/a> now.<\/p>\n

Outside of his impressive run of form under Michael Carrick in recent months, Casemiro candidly opened up about his routines ahead of his Old Trafford exit.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like to be in the gym every day,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t like to do too much, but I am one of those [who] like to do a little bit every single day so that you can be on another level.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, I just try to enjoy it on the pitch. But the thing I do every day is spend 20-30 relaxed minutes in the gym as part of my routine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Casemiro, who has been linked with clubs in both the MLS and Saudi Arabia, has seven Premier League matches left in his Man Utd playing spell now.<\/p>\n
