Ludvig Aberg has praised Tyrrell Hatton as one of the most underrated players in the game \u2014 despite the Englishman no longer competing on the PGA Tour.<\/p>\n

Speaking to The Golfer\u2019s Journal <\/a>a week before the season\u2019s first major at The Masters, Aberg was asked who he considers to be the most underrated golfer on Tour in 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Swede wasted little time in pointing to Hatton<\/a>, who moved from the PGA Tour LIV Golf in 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I mean obviously he\u2019s not on the PGA Tour right now, but Tyrrell Hatton is amazing. I think he\u2019s a really good player,\u201d said Aberg.<\/p>\n

Aberg<\/a> rattled off a number of answers to questions during a recent podcast episode with The Golfer’s Journal.<\/p>\n

He was also asked who was the last European Ryder Cup player to go to bed during the Bethpage celebrations last September.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Aberg, 26, enters The Masters from 9-12 April in impressive form and is currently priced at 16\/1 to win his first major at Augusta.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hatton is also chasing a first major title, but is a much bigger 70\/1 outsider.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Both players share a close connection, having both represented Luke Donald’s Europe in victorious contests in 2023 (Marco Simone) and 2025 (Bethpage).\u00a0<\/p>\n

Aberg, already a two-time PGA Tour winner, continues to make waves on the circuit and he is once again in contention at this week’s Valero Texas Open.<\/p>\n

Hatton, 34, also has a glittering CV, albeit he has endured something of a dip in form of late on LIV Golf, at least by his own high standards.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Englishman owns eight DP World Tour victories, a PGA Tour win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in 2020, and one LIV Golf title at Nashville in 2024.<\/p>\n

Hatton has played in four Ryder Cups, contributing to three European wins, with a match record of eight wins, four defeats, and three halves.<\/p>\n

It’s not been vintage Hatton so far in 2026, testament to his lofty odds of 70\/1 to win The Masters.<\/p>\n

He’s played in six tournaments on both LIV and DP World Tour this season, with just two top-10 finishes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hatton does not have the best record at Augusta National. He’s made nine appearances with just one top-10 finish, coming with a tie for ninth in 2024.<\/p>\n

Aberg, on the other hand, has two top-10s in just two starts at The Masters. He finished and impressive second on debut in 2024 and then followed it up with a seventh last year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
