Howard Stern\u2019s former employee claimed in a new lawsuit that the SiriusXM star and his wife, Beth Stern, imposed unusually strict \u2014 and at times deeply personal \u2014 rules on their household staff.<\/p>\n
Leslie Kuhn \u2014 an ex-executive assistant who managed the Sterns\u2019 home in the Hamptons \u2014 sued the couple for allegedly creating a hostile work environment,<\/a> according to a lawsuit filed in New York Supreme Court over the weekend.<\/p>\n According to the documents obtained by Page Six, Kuhn was asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement forbidding her to discuss business affairs, as well as Howard and Beth\u2019s personal affairs.<\/p>\n Howard and Beth Stern (seen here in 2023) are accused of imposing strict rules on their staffer, according to a new lawsuit. Getty Images for SiriusXM<\/p>\n The couple (seen here in 2019) allegedly asked their ex-assistant to sign a non-disclosure agreement banning her from disclosing details about their personal habits and preferences. GC Images<\/p>\n The agreement would ban Kuhn from disclosing the Stern family\u2019s \u201cdaily activities and personal habits,\u201d even down to their \u201cfood preferences, sleeping habits, [and] hobbies.\u201d<\/p>\n She would also be barred from discussing their use of consumer products, choice of restaurants, hotels or other establishments, entertainment preferences, political affiliations and \u201cany other matters affecting or relating to the Company and its business, and the personal and business affairs of the Company,\u201d\u00a0according to the complaint.<\/p>\n Other off-limits subjects allegedly included the \u201clocation or contents of residences and other properties,\u201d as well as their \u201ctravel arrangements.\u201d<\/p>\n The Stern family allegedly had her sign an NDA barring her from discussing their \u201cdaily activities and personal habits,\u201d like their \u201cfood preferences, sleeping habits, [and] hobbies.\u201d Getty Images for SiriusXM<\/p>\n In the lawsuit against the couple (seen here in 2014), Kuhn claimed she was terminated as a result of a hostile work environment. However, she claims she was fired in February.<\/p>\n Kuhn believes her termination was the result of a hostile work environment as well as \u201cimmense pressures on the household created by irresponsible and untenable animal rescue and fostering operations occurring on-site, and massively disorganized and questionable business operations and accounting practices,\u201d according to court docs.<\/p>\n The former staffer also claimed in the filing that Howard\u2019s production company presented her with the non-disclosure agreement that she denies ever signing. <\/p>\n Howard\u2019s company fired her in February.
