The big-named players have duly followed suit.<\/p>\n<p>Yet Day, the former US PGA champion and world No 1, who was a regular practice partner of Woods, has been brave enough to go against the trend.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI look at it and go, he\u2019s just a human being like everyone else and he has to accept that,\u201d the Australian, who is preparing for <a class=\"ck-custom-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/golf\/2026\/04\/06\/masters-when-is-it-tee-times-field-how-to-watch\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Masters<\/a> here, said. \u201cWe all have struggles. It\u2019s unfortunate what Tiger is going through. But the only thing that I don\u2019t understand is that it\u2019s a little bit selfish of him to drive and put other people in harm\u2019s way, as well.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you\u2019re the player that he was. and how strong-willed he is, he thinks he can do almost anything.
