United States President Donald Trump has warned<\/a> of the \u201ccomplete demolition\u201d of Iran\u2019s key infrastructure if the Strait of Hormuz is not reopened by a looming deadline, signalling a sharp escalation in tensions. He described Tehran\u2019s response to a US ceasefire proposal as \u201csignificant\u201d but ultimately \u201cnot good enough\u201d.<\/p>\n Iran\u2019s military has dismissed Trump\u2019s threats as \u201cdelusional\u201d, saying they cannot mask what it described as US \u201cdisgrace and humiliation\u201d in the region, according to the Iranian media.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, US-Israeli attacks across Iran have intensified, with universities and oil facilities among civilian targets.
