Alexander Isak trained with the Liverpool squad on Tuesday ahead of their flight to Paris for the first leg of their Champions League<\/a> quarter-final tie against PSG.<\/p>\n Forward Isak had returned to team training on Thursday<\/a> prior to the FA Cup<\/a> tie at Manchester City, but Reds boss Arne Slot opted to leave him out of the matchday squad for the clash at the Etihad Stadium.<\/p>\n Speaking ahead of that game, Slot said: \u201cI was hoping the same [that Isak would be among the substitutes on Saturday], but you always do these things in co-operation with medical staff, performance staff and the player himself.<\/p>\n \u201cWe came to the conclusion that it was better for him to have a few more sessions than only one or two and then immediately jump into a game like this, where if you bring him in there might be extra-time.<\/p>\n FOLLOW OUR LIVERPOOL FC FACEBOOK PAGE!
