Australia<\/a> legspinner Alana King<\/a> has returned to the top spot among ODI bowlers only four days after dropping down to second place. King, who took 5 for 19 in the third ODI against West Indies<\/a> last week, replaced England’s left-arm spinner Sophie Ecclestone as the No. 1 bowler in the format.<\/p>\n

King finished the three-match series against West Indies last week as the second highest wicket-taker with six wickets at an average of 17.66 as Australia completed a 3-0 clean sweep. The performance also helped her rise to seventh on the rankings for ODI allrounders, displacing Nat Sciver-Brunt.<\/p>\n

The New Zealand<\/a> duo of Maddy Green<\/a> and Amelia Kerr<\/a> also gained in the ODI rankings after they beat South Africa 2-1<\/a> at home. Green, who was the top-scorer in the series with 239 runs at an average of 119.50, moved to a career-high rating of 642 points and rose four spots to No. 9 among batters.<\/p>\n

Kerr moved up six spots to joint 14th among batters after scoring 215 runs in the series against South Africa. She scored 179 not out off 139 balls in the second ODI, as New Zealand pulled off the highest-successful chase (347) in women’s ODIs.<\/p>\n

Kerr also took four wickets against South Africa, two of which came in the series-deciding third ODI.
