\n The national online booking system opened on Tuesday, April 7, with appointments available from April 13.\n<\/p>\n
\n The NHS is contacting eligible individuals directly, inviting them to book or attend appointments.\n<\/p>\n
\n Those eligible include people aged 75 and over, residents of care homes for older adults, and people aged six months or older with weakened immune systems.\n<\/p>\n

\n The vaccine will be administered at GP practices, pharmacies, and community vaccination clinics.\n<\/p>\n
\n Appointments can be booked through the National Booking System online, via phone at 119, or in-person at walk-in clinics.\n<\/p>\n
\n The NHS advises those who think they are eligible but have not been contacted to reach out to their general practice surgery via online forms, and to check all contact details held by the practice are up to date.\n<\/p>\n
\n Alongside the Covid vaccination, the RSV vaccination is being offered to people aged 75 or over and residents of older adult care homes.\n<\/p>\n
\n The NHS reported that last winter, the RSV vaccination reduced hospital admissions by approximately 30 per cent in people aged 75 to 79.\n<\/p>\n
\n People can receive both vaccinations at the same time if possible.\n<\/p>\n
