Head-to-Head: Lehecka 1-0 Tabilo<\/p>\n
Not many players can match Jiri Lehecka\u2019s power, but Emilio Nava did that and more in the first round. Nava hit 43 winners off the ground to Lehecka\u2019s 19, but credit to the Czech player, as he was more consistent, which shows maturity in his game. Lehecka came to the net a lot and will need to incorporate that for the rest of the clay season. Alejandro Tabilo had a more straightforward first-round victory, and he must like his chances here. Lehecka has played a lot of tennis recently and might not be able to give his best if this becomes physical.<\/p>\n

Hubert Hurkacz vs Fabian Marozsan<\/p>\n
Head-to-Head: Hurkacz 1-0 Marozsan<\/p>\n
Hubert Hurkacz finally snapped his seven-match losing streak by defeating Luciano Darderi in three sets. This must have felt like a huge weight off his shoulders and something to build on. If Hurkacz can keep serving at his best and lock in on defense like he did in this match, I see him having more success this clay season. However, I like Fabian Marozsan in this match as he has the power of Darderi but is less erratic.<\/p>\n

Andrey Rublev vs Zizou Bergs<\/p>\n
Head-to-Head: Rublev 1-1 Bergs<\/p>\n
Former champion Andrey Rublev defeated Nuno Borges in a rollercoaster match. It was not the highest quality match, but Rublev did well to bounce back after the second set. He took a medical time out during the match, casting doubts on his fitness for the second round. Even if it\u2019s not serious, Rublev will need to improve his level significantly to beat Zizou Bergs, who looked dialled in against Adrian Mannarino. I will still back the Russian, but he will need to dig deep.<\/p>\n

Alexander Zverev vs Cristian Garin<\/p>\n
Head-to-Head: Zverev 2-1 Garin<\/p>\n
Alexander Zverev will look to start his clay campaign on a solid note and build for his ultimate goal of winning the French Open. He has been historically a slow starter on this surface, and this is his worst Masters 1000 tournament on clay as a result. However, Cristian Garin is not the player he once was, and despite a great head-to-head against Zverev, I don\u2019t think he poses a threat to the German this time.<\/p>\n
