What\u2019s your favourite Assassin\u2019s Creed<\/a> game? The excellent Assassin\u2019s Creed 4: Black Flag<\/a>, a PS4 launch game, has got to be up there, right?<\/p>\n

Edward Kenway\u2019s adventure had a cool mix of traditional stealth action and nautical adventuring, and who doesn\u2019t like pirates at the end of the day? In this One Piece obsessed world, we can\u2019t blame Ubisoft for giving the game another go.<\/p>\n

We know this remake has been rumoured for eternity<\/a>, but the French publisher actually officially confirmed it last month, as Assassin\u2019s Creed: Black Flag Resynced<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now there\u2019s word of an incoming announcement, on 16th April.<\/p>\n

While the rumour was started by ResetEra<\/a> user BlackBate<\/a> earlier today, Insider Gaming\u2019s<\/a> relatively reliable Tom Henderson has since corroborated the story.<\/p>\n

According to the website, the game is slated to release at any point between June and August of this year, so it looks like it\u2019s going to dominate our summer gaming, ahead of GTA 6<\/a> later in the holidays.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a trying generation for Ubisoft, but it\u2019ll be counting on this effort to get its finances back on track.<\/p>\n

Personally, we\u2019re eager to see what kind of improvements the publisher incorporates into this remake, because Assassin\u2019s Creed has changed a lot over the last decade, so it\u2019ll be interesting to see which aspects it decides to incorporate into its sailing sandbox.<\/p>\n
