You know Sony considers a game a big deal if it gets its very own custom DualSense controller, and the latest title to receive that honour is 007 First Light<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Yes, IO Interactive’s upcoming James Bond action adventure game is getting a special, limited edition PS5 pad, and here it is:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The 007 First Light controller is decked out with a gold and black colour scheme, which matches the key art for the game itself, while there are lines leading to the touch pad that are clearly inspired by the iconic gun barrel sequence you see at the start of every Bond flick. Completing the design is the 007 logo on the touch pad.<\/p>\n

The controller is “a celebration of Bond\u2019s return” to gaming, says the game’s art director Rasmus Poulsen. “The golden finish pays tribute to the elegance, legacy, and timeless style of the franchise, while the barrel-inspired detailing reflects the themes of the game and how it feels to play it, as well as being a nod to one of pop culture\u2019s most recognizable visual signatures.”<\/p>\n

Available in limited quantities, the controller will be up for pre-order on 17th April 2026, and it launches day and date with the game on 27th May.<\/p>\n
