\n St Davids Waste and Recycling Centre, located on the Fishguard Road near Hendre Farm is usually open on Wednesdays and Sundays throughout the spring and summer season.\n<\/p>\n
\n However, the tip is currently closed, and will remain so until around April 15, while improvements works to the facility are carried out.\n<\/p>\n

\n During this time, the nearest available waste and recycling centre will be in Manorowen on the outskirts of Fishguard.\n<\/p>\n
\n While St Davids is closed, the Manorowen facility will be open for an additional two days a week.\n<\/p>\n
\n Manorowen is usually only open on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays during the summer season. From 8.30am to 5.30pm on Monday and Thursday and from 8.30am to 4pm on Saturdays.\n<\/p>\n

\n While St Davids Waste and Recycling Centre is closed, Manorowen will also be open on from 8.30am to 5.30pm on Wednesdays and Sundays.\n<\/p>\n
\n Pembrokeshire County Council apologised for the inconvenience and thanked people for their patience and understanding. It said that it would share an update once the St Davids site has reopened and bookings can resume as normal.\n<\/p>\n

\n Pembrokeshire\u2019s Waste and Recycling Centres are one-stop shops that enable households to dispose of and recycle waste.\n<\/p>\n
\n The council says that in recent years it has invested heavily in these centres by upgrading them to accommodate more waste streams and also through intensive staff training.\n<\/p>\n
