A film student who was stabbed to death in London\u2019s Primrose Hill was a \u201cbeautiful, lovely, outgoing, loving\u201d man, his father has said.<\/p>\n

Finbar Sullivan, 21, was stabbed in a fight in the north London park in the early evening on Tuesday and was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

His father, Christopher Sullivan, said his son had gone to the park \u2013 a renowned beauty spot in the capital popular with tourists and residents \u2013 to use a new camera he had been given for his birthday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the worst tragedy I could ever imagine,\u201d the 65-year-old said. \u201cHe\u2019s my only son \u2026 I had him when I was 45. He can never be replaced. He\u2019d just bought a new camera, we all chipped in for his 21st birthday, and he took it up there to do a bit of filming.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sullivan, a musician and founder of the 1980s band Blue Rondo \u00e0 la Turk, said his son had wanted to become a cameraman like his grandfather, Michael Seresin \u2013 who worked on Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Rambo III.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so broken-hearted, I can\u2019t believe it. He was the most beautiful, lovely, outgoing, loving boy. He was just a really lovely person. And why he was targeted, we have no idea,\u201d he told the Daily Mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sullivan said he had rushed to Primrose Hill as soon as he was informed of the incident \u2013 of which police said video footage was circulating online. \u201cI got the call at about six that he\u2019d been stabbed, so I rushed up there,\u201d Sullivan said. \u201cI wasn\u2019t allowed in because it was a crime scene, and by that point he\u2019d had 20 minutes of CPR. He\u2019d obviously died.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s Primrose Hill, for God\u2019s sake \u2026 it\u2019s like Hyde Park. It\u2019s not somewhere you expect this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sullivan was a student at the London Screen Academy and had reportedly produced music videos for drill rap artists under the name Sully Shot It.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll I can tell you is he was the subject of an indiscriminate stabbing. He was not a gang member,\u201d his father told the Mail. \u201cHe was just a little groovy 21-year-old who loved movies and making films. He didn\u2019t drink, he didn\u2019t smoke, he didn\u2019t go out.\u201d<\/p>\n
