Jannik Sinner boasts the longest run of consecutive sets won (37) at ATP Masters 1000 level.

Tomas Machac<\/a> ended Jannik Sinner<\/a>‘s streak of 37 consecutive sets won at ATP Masters 1000 events on Thursday, when the Czech levelled their third-round clash at the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sinner, the No. 2 player in the PIF ATP Rankings, scooped titles in Paris last year, and Indian Wells and Miami last month, without dropping a set to break Novak Djokovic<\/a>‘s previous record of 24. The 24-year-old Italian continued his run by winning the first three sets of his run in Monte-Carlo, before Machac bulldozed his way through a second-set tie-break.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Most Consecutive Sets Won At ATP Masters 1000 Level* (since the series began in 1990)<\/p>\n

If Sinner can win the deciding set against Machac, he will next meet Felix Auger-Aliassime<\/a> in his bid for a maiden Masters 1000 title on clay.
