A 21-year-old who was stabbed to death in a London park<\/a> \u201ccan never be replaced\u201d, his grieving father says.<\/p>\n Finbar Sullivan was stabbed<\/a> in a fight at the view point on Primrose Hill on Tuesday. Despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n In an interview with the Daily Mail<\/a>, Christopher Sullivan said that his son wanted to become a cinematographer like his New Zealand grandfather, Michael Seresin<\/a>, who shot Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban and numerous Alan Parker films.<\/p>\n The filmmaking student had gone to the park to use a new camera he had got for his birthday.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is the worst tragedy I could ever imagine,\u201d his father, 65, told the newspaper on Thursday.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s my only son\u2026 I had him when I was 45. He can never be replaced.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019d just bought a new camera, we all chipped in for his 21st birthday, and he took it up there to do a bit of filming.\u201d<\/p>\n Mr Sullivan, a musician and founder of 1980s band Blue Rondo a la Turk, added: \u201cI\u2019m so broken-hearted, I can\u2019t believe it.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was the most beautiful, lovely, outgoing, loving boy. He was just a really lovely person.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd why he was targeted, we have no idea.\u201d<\/p>\n Mr Sullivan said he rushed to Primrose Hill as soon as he was informed of the incident, video footage of which police said was circulating online on Wednesday.<\/p>\n \u201cI got the call at about six that he\u2019d been stabbed, so I rushed up there,\u201d Mr Sullivan told the Daily Mail.<\/p>\n \u201cI wasn\u2019t allowed in because it was a crime scene, and by that point he\u2019d had 20 minutes of CPR. He\u2019d obviously died.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s Primrose Hill, for God\u2019s sake\u2026 It\u2019s like Hyde Park. It\u2019s not somewhere you expect this.\u201d<\/p>\n Finbar Sullivan was a student at the London Screen Academy and produced music videos for drill rap artists under the name Sully Shot It, the Daily Mail reported.<\/p>\n Despite the drill scene\u2019s association with gang violence, Mr Sullivan denied his son was involved in it.<\/p>\n \u201cAll I can tell you is he was the subject of an indiscriminate stabbing. He was not a gang member,\u201d said Mr Sullivan.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was just a little groovy 21-year-old who loved movies and making films. He didn\u2019t drink, he didn\u2019t smoke, he didn\u2019t go out.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019d stay at home editing his films six nights a week. He wanted to follow in his [grandfather\u2019s footsteps] and be a cameraman.<\/p>\n \u201cHe recently did a video for Joseph Corre, Vivienne Westwood\u2019s son.<\/p>\n \u201cWe were just about to start a company together\u2026 He was going to do his showreel today with me. And now he\u2019s dead.\u201d<\/p>\n Mr Sullivan added: \u201cHis friend was stabbed in the back and hands trying to protect him.<\/p>\n \u201cMy son always tried to stand up for people, so maybe the attacker was bullying someone.\u201d<\/p>\n The Metropolitan Police have urged \u201canyone who has any information, including photos or videos\u201d, to get in touch.<\/p>\n Contact police on 101, quoting reference CAD 6448\/07Apr.
