My injury is still playing up a little bit. I was in there from like 7am to late… so picking up my daughter became hard when I had to pick her up from daycare.”

Despite making this decision now, Whitehead hasn’t put the lid on a coaching career fully as he added: “Hopefully I might go back next year once my daughter is a little bit older and I’ve spent a bit more time with her.”

According to the Australian report, Whitehead has now landed a role as a junior foreman at a construction company.

Super League Rivals Round madness, broken video referee system and Challenge Cup predictions – Click here to watch the latest episode of the Serious About Rugby League Show

Former NRL and Super League star Elliott Whitehead has taken a step back from his coaching career, having…

[35
5903,101,56,54,55
0":"post-522028","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-rugby","8":"tag-rugby","9":"tag-sports","10":"tag-uk","11":"tag-united-kingdom","12":"tag-unitedkingdom
["GET
