NASA has revealed the playlist of wake-up songs made for the Artemis II crew, featuring the likes of Chappell Roan<\/a>, Queen<\/a>, David Bowie<\/a>, Glass Animals<\/a> and more.<\/p>\n

The 10-day mission mission from NASA began on April 1 and sees a crew of four astronauts embark on journey around the moon and back. It is the first time humans have attempted the feat in over 50 years, and will allow the team look at parts of the moon never seen before.<\/p>\n

On Saturday (April 4), it was revealed that Chappell Roan\u2019s hit 2023 single \u2018Pink Pony Club\u2019 was used as one of the songs<\/a> to help the crew wake up, and now NASA has dropped the full playlist of songs used on the mission so far.<\/p>\n

\u2018Artemis II Wake-Up Songs\u2019 fittingly begins with \u2018Sleepyhead\u2019 by Young & Sick, before moving into John Legend<\/a> and Andre 3000<\/a>\u2019s \u2018Green Light\u2019.<\/p>\n

Before \u2018Pink Pony Club\u2019, there is \u2018In A Daydream\u2019 by Freddy Jones Band and rounding off the playlist is CeeLo Green<\/a>\u2019s \u2018Working Class Heroes\u2019, Mandisa\u2019s \u2018Good Morning\u2019, Glass Animals and Denzel Curry<\/a>\u2019s collab \u2018Tokyo Drifting\u2019, and the classic Queen and David Bowie collab \u2018Under Pressure\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cYou asked for it. Here it is. The official Artemis II wake\u2011up song playlist,\u201d NASA wrote on Instagram. \u201cEach track was selected by the Moon crew, continuing a tradition that started more than 50 years ago. Stay tuned to find out which songs they\u2019ll choose next.\u201d<\/p>\n

There is still one more day left to go on the mission, and more new tracks are expected to be added to the playlist before the journey comes to an end.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you sooooo much for having me aboard!! My life will never be the same,\u201d wrote Young & Sick in the comments on Instagram, while Glass Animals also shared their gratitude, adding: \u201cThis is the coolest thing that\u2019s ever happened to me in my life ever.\u201d<\/p>\n

When it was revealed that Chappell Roan\u2019s huge hit made it onto the space mission playlist, members of the crew also lightheartedly vented their frustrations as it lost signal and cut out<\/a> one minute in.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were all eagerly awaiting the chorus,\u201d Commander Reid Wiseman was heard saying on the Saturday livestream of the lunar mission, before the Capsule Communicator could be heard replying and promising to \u201ctry again next time\u201d.<\/p>\n
