A total of 59,137 online votes were cast, with a further 22,370 SMS votes cast. Their debut year saw their best result to date in the contest, as Edyta G\u00f3rniak finished in 2nd place with her song \u201cTo nie ja!\u201d. Following this, Poland failed to repeat this initial success, only managing to achieve a top 10 finish on two other occasions since their debut.
