\n The ride will start at the BWFC Stadium and finish at Wembley, with the goal of raising funds for the Transforming Lives Group CIC, a mental health support organisation.\n<\/p>\n
\n The team aims to complete the route in around 24 hours.\n<\/p>\n
\n Andy Farnworth, founder of the Transforming Lives Group CIC, said: “This challenge is about more than the miles.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It is about showing the people we support that we will go the distance for them.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Mental health services are under enormous pressure and our project gives people something that cannot be prescribed, and that is community, connection and purpose.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We hope the people of Bolton will get behind us.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Mr Farnworth will be joined on the ride by Eddie Birchall, Darren Clare, Jason Grinnell and Robert Wysocki, with Paul Mockford as a support driver.\n<\/p>\n
\n All funds raised will support the group\u2019s Health and Wellbeing Support Project, which provides community-based activities designed to improve mental and physical wellbeing.\n<\/p>\n
\n The project aims to reduce loneliness, promote recovery and offer a sense of belonging to some of the most vulnerable people in Bolton.\n<\/p>\n
\n The team is calling on individuals and businesses across the town to support the challenge through donations or sponsorship.\n<\/p>\n
