Zara Tindall was joined by husband Mike and daughter Mia at Aintree, with the mother and daughter bringing a touch of elegance with suits for Ladies Day.<\/p>\n

The King’s niece, 44, sported an elegant, dusty pink blazer paired with the matching trousers and hat.<\/p>\n

Mia, 12, looked similarly dapper, donning a pinstripe royal blue suit.<\/p>\n

Both clutched golden bags, while Zara wore bow and tortoise shell sunglasses, and her daughter modelled a blue, woven headband.<\/p>\n

Princess Anne’s daughter opted for a graceful pair of white heels, while Mia completed the look with a sensible pair of loafers.<\/p>\n

The pair were joined by Mike, who himself donned a sleek beige tweed jacket paired with black trousers.<\/p>\n

The headline race, the Grand National, will take place on Saturday afternoon, with gamblers expected to splash upwards of \u00a3250million on the race.<\/p>\n

Ladies Day tends to attract over 45,000 eager spectators, though Day One attendances were up some 22 per cent from the previous year, suggesting figures could far surpass 50,000.<\/p>\n

A mother-of-three, Zara returned to competitive equestrian action in March at the Barbury Horse Trials, held at Sharpridge Farm in Marlborough.<\/p>\n

Ahead of her return to riding horseback, TV presenter and close friend, Natalie Pinkham, said: “She’s the most hands-on mother I know.
