{"id":525254,"date":"2026-04-11T13:54:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-11T13:54:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/525254\/"},"modified":"2026-04-11T13:54:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-11T13:54:08","slug":"woman-19-killed-in-dog-attack-at-house-near-dunmow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/525254\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman, 19, killed in dog attack at house near Dunmow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">A woman has died following a dog attack at a house in Essex.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Police were called to Long Hide, in the village of Leaden Roding, near Dunmow, at 22:45 BST on Friday and found a 19-year-old woman with serious injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Despite &#8220;the best efforts of emergency services&#8221;, she was pronounced dead at the scene, Essex Police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">A man, 37, from Dunmow, was arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control and causing injury resulting in death, and remained in custody, police added<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A woman has died following a dog attack at a house in Essex.
