Sabrina Carpenter<\/a>\u2019s fans have claimed that the singer is going to be \u2018cancelled\u2019 after her reaction to a fan\u2019s crowd cheer at Coachella<\/a> 2026.<\/p>\n The 26-year-old headlined the opening day of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California, with Justin Bieber<\/a> and Karol G<\/a> also topping the bill this year<\/p>\n Referencing Hollywood films with the help of special guest actors such as Sam Elliott, Corey Fogelmanis, and Samuel L. This is weird.\u2019<\/p>\n Reacting to the moment on social media<\/a>, many fans labelled her remarks as \u2018rude\u2019 and \u2018condescending\u2019, with some even labelling it as insulting to the fan\u2019s culture.<\/p>\n Writing on X,@mdnarae said: \u2018They\u2019re gonna cancel her for this aren\u2019t they.\u2019<\/p>\n They continued: \u2018I think she genuinely wasn\u2019t coming from a bad place but when someone says \u201cthat\u2019s my culture\u201d put ur PR training to use and DONT DOUBLE DOWN \ud83d\ude2d\ud83d\ude2d.<\/p>\n \u2018I didn\u2019t know that culture either but I wouldn\u2019t double down if someone said that was their culture.\u2019<\/p>\n Dawn also wrote on the site: \u2018Did Sabrina Carpenter just accidentally insult a Muslim woman for her ululation cheer? <\/p>\n \u2018She thought it was \u201cyodeling\u201d \ud83d\ude02 and said she doesn\u2019t like it, lol.
