Anthony Joshua<\/a> is more convinced than ever that he beats Tyson Fury<\/a> after watching his showing against Arslanbek Makhmudov.<\/p>\n

Fury returned to action after a 16-month absence with a comfortable unanimous decision win over Makhmudov<\/a> at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion, Fury called out Joshua for a long-awaited showdown between the pair,<\/a> with \u2018AJ\u2019 choosing to cool the situation and insisting that negotiations still need to take place before announcing a potential battle.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the Netflix broadcast, Joshua also gave his verdict on Fury\u2019s performance against the Russian, and he didn\u2019t seem impressed with what he saw from his countryman.<\/p>\n

\u201cI punched you up when we were kids, and after watching you tonight, I\u2019ll punch you up again.\u201d<\/p>\n

It has been suggested that Joshua may choose to have a warm-up bout before a clash with Fury, but \u2018AJ\u2019 also joked that he thinks that may come in the form of \u2018The Gypsy King\u2019 after his display.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat could be a warm up fight after what I saw tonight\u2026 I like his fighting style, I think he\u2019s good but I don\u2019t think he\u2019ll be able to cope with me. Going off tonight? It would be hard work for him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joshua was last in action in December when he beat YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, before he was involved in a tragic car accident later that month that sadly took the lives of two of his close friends, Sina Ghami and Latif Ayodele.<\/p>\n

Due to that incident, AJ has been biding his time before his next move, but will now have to decide whether or not to head straight into a clash with Fury next.
