Justin Bieber<\/a> is headlining Coachella<\/a> tonight (11 April), marking his first major comeback in four years, since being forced to abandon his tour in 2022.<\/p>\n

He’s joined by Sabrina Carpenter<\/a> and Karol G as the other headliners across the weekend.<\/p>\n

During his most recent performance at the Grammys, Bieber performed a stripped-back version of hit track ‘Yukon’ from his newer album Swag<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, for those of us who have been begging for an Eras-style set spanning his 15-year career… it could just happen, right when we needed it most.<\/p>\n

Clips taken from outside the festival site hear a huge range of songs being tested, from ‘Beauty and a Beat’, to ‘Sorry’, alongside some of his newer tracks.<\/p>\n

This is the final song of the night, and is ending with a huge firework display.<\/p>\n

One fan summarised the 1.5-hour performance by writing: “Justin told Coachella: give me a nice stage, a laptop, and good internet, and I’ll bring you the voice.”<\/p>\n

Some fans have expressed disappointment at the likes of ‘Love Yourself’ and ‘One Less Lonely Girl’ missing from the set list – but if he were to play his entire discography, he’d need at least a few more hours.<\/p>\n

“Coachella you guys have been incredible tonight”, he told the crowd (and cameras) as he closed the show out.<\/p>\n

“I loved spending this time with you guys.”<\/p>\n

Song 33: Essence<\/p>\n

Wizkid has joined Justin and Tems on stage for the remixed version of their 2020 song, ‘Essence’.<\/p>\n

The song was the first Nigerian song in history to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 at the time.<\/p>\n

Song 32: I Think You’re Special<\/p>\n

It’s a double-bill of special guest cameos – this time, Nigerian singer-songwriter, Tems. <\/p>\n

The pair collaborated on ‘I Think You’re Special’ for Swag II.<\/p>\n

Fans are piling the praise on, over on social media.<\/p>\n

“I didn\u2019t realize i was gonna be so emotional tonight like my heart #BIEBERCHELLA<\/a>“, one wrote.<\/p>\n

“I love Tems so much, she\u2019s so talented”, another added. <\/p>\n

Song 31: Devotion\u00a0<\/p>\n

Justin is joined by Dijon for their soulful track from 2025 album, ‘Swag’.<\/p>\n

Song 30: Yukon<\/p>\n

It looks like we’re back to performing some of the newer hits.<\/p>\n

He’s ditched the laptop to get back to business, and is re-introducing us to ‘Swag’ with one of its most-loved songs, ‘Yukon’ – also known as the song he performed during his comeback at this year’s Grammys. <\/p>\n

Song 29: I’m The One\u00a0<\/p>\n

He sang about 30 seconds of this song (originally created with DJ Khaled, Quavo, Chance the Rapper, and Lil Wayne), before switching to the viral ‘Deez Nuts’ video on YouTube.<\/p>\n

“Alright I’m getting pulled into the deep, dark web, we gotta keep this show going”, he laughs. <\/p>\n

Song 28: Where Are \u00dc Now<\/p>\n

“There’s too many bangers so he just went on YouTube”, one fan joked on X, while another wrote: “This is so important to me”. <\/p>\n

He stopped the song after a couple of minutes to share a viral video of him walking into a glass door in 2012, as well as a clip of him falling down a trap door on stage.<\/p>\n

He’s also pulled up the video of him “standing on business”, and, somehow, knows it word for word. <\/p>\n

Song 27: Sorry<\/p>\n

This is probably the loudest the crowd have been singing all night. <\/p>\n

The upbeat track is taken from 2015 album, ‘Purpose’. <\/p>\n

Song 26: So Sick (Ne-Yo cover)<\/p>\n

Justin appears to be doing a whistle-stop tour of his old YouTube channel, Kidrauhl, with another cover that sent him viral 19 years ago.<\/p>\n

“Justin made it to the final 3 with ‘So Sick’ and ‘Basketball’ in the Local singing competition”, the description of the original video reads, along with a link to his MySpace. <\/p>\n

He’s still yet to sing any of the tracks in full. <\/p>\n

Song 25: With You (Chris Brown cover)<\/p>\n

Long-time Beliebers will recognise this as the song that made Justin famous on YouTube over 18 years ago.<\/p>\n

The original video is playing in the background as he sings over the top on stage.<\/p>\n

At time of writing, it has 64 million views.<\/p>\n

Song 23: Confident<\/p>\n

Despite the fact Justin is sat in front of his laptop throughout this section (quite literally looking the songs up on YouTube), people aren’t mad about it.<\/p>\n

“These are little snippets as I just want to see how far back you go”, he’s telling fans.<\/p>\n

Song 22: Never Say Never<\/p>\n

Fans have seen Jaden Smith wandering around the Coachella site this weekend – are we about to see a major main stage cameo? Update: It didn’t happen.<\/p>\n

Song 21: Beauty and a Beat<\/p>\n

This 2012 hit is from album, ‘Believe’.<\/p>\n

While fans are loving this switch up in tempo, there’s no sign of Nicki Minaj, who features on the song. <\/p>\n

Song 20: That Should Be Me<\/p>\n

Song 19: Favorite Girl\u00a0<\/p>\n

I have nothing to add right now, other than that Beliebers around the world will be losing it – whether in the desert or in their living rooms. Including me. <\/p>\n

The song is the second track from his debut album, ‘My World’. <\/p>\n

Justin appears to be playing the songs on YouTube, and stopping them halfway through to move onto other nostalgic hits.<\/p>\n

Song 18: Baby<\/p>\n

“Man, tonight is such a special night but I feel like we gotta take you guys on a bit of a journey”, he tells the crowd before launching into the very hit that propelled him to stardom: ‘Baby’. <\/p>\n

On the live stream, you can barely hear Justin over the noise of the crowd singing so loudly. <\/p>\n

Song 17: Everything Hallelujah<\/p>\n

The camera pans to wife, Hailey Bieber, as Justin sings ‘Hailey, babe, hallelujah’ to the sound of massive cheers from the crowd.<\/p>\n

The song finishes with amended lyrics, ‘It’s Coachella, hallelujah’. <\/p>\n

“I love you guys so much”, he tells fans who have been waiting weeks for this very moment.<\/p>\n

The whole crowd has their phone torches out for this stripped-back section of the show.<\/p>\n

“The falsettos that Justin handles give me a thousand years of life; he was born to sing”, one fan praised online, while another chimed in: “I promise you I wasn’t expecting THIS VOICE from Justin. He sounds incredible and he’s killing it.”<\/p>\n

“We’re going to slow it down for you a little bit”, he’s vowed, before being joined by two acoustic guitarists for ‘Things You Do’ from ‘Swag’.<\/p>\n

“Ummm everything except Stay has been slow so far??”, one fan on X joked in response. <\/p>\n

Everybody stay calm, it’s happening.<\/p>\n

The Kid Laroi has just joined Justin on stage for their 2021 track, ‘Stay’.<\/p>\n

At the time, the song won multiple Billboard Music Awards (Top Hot 100 Song, Collaboration), and the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Award for Best Collaboration.<\/p>\n

Just when we thought we were moving through the eras, we’re back onto ‘Swag II’ tracks.<\/p>\n
