Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott ahead of the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils<\/a> are outlining plans to rebuild their midfield after the season and could seriously consider Scott amid his breakout campaign on the south coast.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old delivered a man-of-the-match display in Bournemouth\u2019s 2-1 win over Arsenal on Saturday at the Emirates, scoring the visitors\u2019 winning goal.<\/p>\n

Bournemouth are in a strong negotiating position for the midfielder, who is under contract at the Vitality Stadium until the summer of 2028.<\/p>\n

According to j<\/a>ournalist Paul O’Keefe<\/a>, Manchester United \u2018want\u2019 to sign Scott as part of their summer midfield rebuild, with the Old Trafford side eyeing several key changes in the middle of the park.<\/p>\n

United are preparing for Casemiro\u2019s departure at the end of his contract, with the Brazilian set to call time on his four-year spell in Manchester in June.<\/p>\n

Uncertainty also remains over Manuel Ugarte\u2019s situation amid the Uruguayan\u2019s limited playing time under Michael Carrick.<\/p>\n

As journalist Fabrizio Romano reported, Ugarte has attracted interest from clubs in Italy<\/a> and was considered by Turkish giants Galatasaray during the winter window.<\/p>\n

Scott joined Bournemouth from Bristol City in the summer of 2023 and has registered six goals and five assists in 84 appearances for the Cherries to date.<\/p>\n

The \u2018amazing\u2019<\/a> 22-year-old has been a key player under Andoni Iraola this term, starting 29 of Bournemouth\u2019s 32 Premier League games and registering four goal involvements.<\/p>\n

Amid his strong club form, Scott received his first call-up to the England squad for November\u2019s international break but did not come off the bench in the 2-0 win over Albania.<\/p>\n

Manchester United appear to have multiple Bournemouth players on their radar ahead of the summer, with defender Marcos Senesi also being targeted.<\/p>\n

According to reports in Italy, United are in close contact with Senesi\u2019s representatives<\/a> ahead of his contract expiry in June and are rivalling Premier League clubs in the race for the Argentine.<\/p>\n

Senesi is likely to become the next major name to leave Bournemouth this summer, following Antoine Semenyo\u2019s move to Manchester City in January for \u00a364m.<\/p>\n

Iraola\u2019s side parted ways with defenders Milos Kerkez, Dean Huijsen and Ilia Zabarnyi before the season, raising a total of \u00a3147m in transfer fees.<\/p>\n
