Coronation Street<\/a>\u2019s Vinta Morgan is a firm favourite playing Ronnie Bailey – but how old is the talented actor?<\/p>\n

Vinta joined the ITV soap back in 2021<\/a> as Ronnie, who moved closer to brother Ed (Trevor Michael Georges), niece Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) and nephews James (Jason Callender) and Michael (Ryan Russell).<\/p>\n

Since then, Ronnie\u2019s played a part in several big storylines, most notably his romance with Debbie Webster<\/a> (Sue Devaney). The pair got married earlier this year but life as newlyweds hasn\u2019t gone plain sailing for the couple.<\/p>\n

Debbie – who is living with dementia – spent time behind bars, after pleading guilty to dangerous driving and supposedly causing the death of local vicar Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank). However, Debbie is actually taking the wrap for Carl (Jonathan Howard), who is her son.<\/p>\n

But what most people don\u2019t know is that it was actually evil Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) who caused Billy\u2019s death, after he strapped an unconscious Billy back into a driver’s seat and abandoned him to die in the explosion.<\/p>\n

And in Sunday\u2019s episode (April 12), Billy\u2019s daughter Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby), put two and two together and discovered Theo was responsible for Billy\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

Recently though, attention has turned to the age of Ronnie actor Vinta Morgan. The star is currently 56 and turns 57 in May.<\/p>\n

The talented actor is also no stranger to appearing on screens. The star previously appeared in the likes The Bill, Ted Lasso, Doctors, Silent Witness and rival soap EastEnders<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s more, it turns out talent runs in Vinta\u2019s family as his parents Tony and Avis were both vocalists in their time. Vinta’s father achieved recognition with Tony Morgan and the Mussel Power Band, putting out two singles.<\/p>\n

\"Corrie\"<\/p>\n

The actor made his debut a few years back<\/p>\n

\u201cMy dad had this mantle of being the one with the snaky hips dancing across the floor,” Vinta recently shared with the Mirror<\/a>. He continued: “But they both put those things away to provide for the family. He became a chef and my mum became an occupational therapist.”<\/p>\n

Outside of his soap opera career, Vinta resides in Hertfordshire with his wife Nina and their children, Abisah, 18, Soumi, 15, Zain, 12 and Anthony, three.<\/p>\n
