Chris Sutton couldn’t help himself when assessing the decision to allow the Rangers<\/a> goal that handed them a lifeline at Falkirk.<\/p>\n

Danny Rohl’<\/a>s men found themselves 2-0 down to John McGlynn’s Bairns and on the ropes thanks to Ben Broggio’s early strike and a curler from Finn Yeats.<\/p>\n

But the title-chasing Light Blues got themselves back into it in bizarre circumstances <\/a>just before the break and sparked a remarkable four-goal comeback in 16 minutes either side of half-time, going on to win a bonkers game 6-3.<\/p>\n

Thelo Aasgaard saw an effort hit the post before the ball came back to Nico Raskin.<\/p>\n

He sent in a high, looping cross from the left that looked like it had drifted out of play above Scott Bain’s crossbar before coming back in,<\/p>\n

Djeidi Gassama didn’t stop though and headed back across goal, hitting the same post before Tochi Chukwuani <\/a>smashed the rebound into the roof of the net.<\/p>\n

A VAR check by Andrew Dallas amid the Bairns’ protest confirmed the on-field decision and Gers halved the deficit heading into half-time.<\/p>\n

Replays didn’t exactly clear things up and Sutton quipped: “It’s almost in the front row of the stand!”<\/p>\n

There was also a discussion over whether Jayden Meghoma should have seen red after wiping out Calvin Miller as the Falkirk winger looked to break from his own half.<\/p>\n

Boyd was adamant that Marc Leonard’s foul on Robbie Muirhead on the halfwayline in Hearts’ 2-2 draw with Livingston last week was a sedning off, but didn’t think Meghoma should have been,<\/p>\n

He said: “It’s not reckless. It’s a high tackle. It’s a foul, but Calvin Miller’s touch is taking him away from goal. He’s not in on goal. It’s not the same as last week.”<\/p>\n

However, Sutton insisted there had to be consistency. He added: “I didn’t think Leonard’s was a red card last week because there was too big a distance to travel.<\/p>\n
