Jennie Garth knew her marriage to Peter Facinelli was over when a couple\u2019s counselor bluntly asked why she\u2019d want to be with someone who didn\u2019t love her.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s where everything hit the fan,\u201d the \u201cBeverly Hills 90210\u201d alum revealed during a chat on \u201cArmchair Expert,\u201d<\/a> which was released on April 13.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was echoing,\u201d she added, \u201cI\u2019ll never forget it. That just gutted me, and I was like, \u2018Yeah, no s\u2013t. Give up, it\u2019s time.\u201d<\/p>\n Jennie Garth detailed the end of her marriage to Peter Facinelli in a recent interview. Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images<\/p>\n Before the couple\u2019s counseling, Garth, 54, recalled Facinelli coming to visit her and their three daughters on a farm in central California when they were separated. <\/p>\n The two entered an RV and \u201cthat\u2019s where he told me he wanted us to get a divorce,\u201d Garth shared, adding that Facinelli, 52, then added, \u201c\u2018Jen, someday you\u2019ll thank me for this.’\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cWhat I Like About You\u201d alum confessed that the comment \u201cinfuriated me, that pissed me off.\u201d<\/p>\n The couple, snapped in 2010, share three daughters. FilmMagic<\/p>\n Garth was blindsided when the \u201cTwilight\u201d actor, seen here at the movie\u2019s 2009 premiere, asked her for a divorce. FilmMagic<\/p>\n The former couple met in 1995 while filming the TV movie, \u201cAn Unfinished Affair,\u201d and married six years later. <\/p>\n They share daughters, Luca, 28, Lola, 23, and Fiona, 19. WireImage<\/p>\n Following that, she checked into the Canyon Ranch rehab center.<\/p>\n \u201cI noticed my light really dimming,\u201d Garth told People about the scary incident and its aftermath. \u201cI wasn\u2019t putting off good vibes. I could see it in the mirror. I could look at the negative impact that that kind of grief and anger was having on me.\u201d<\/p>\n
