Chery’s Aimoga has launched online sales of its robots to ordinary consumers, with a humanoid model carrying a retail price tag of 285,800 yuan ($41,830).
\nThe company is actively expanding its physical offline dealer network to eventually bring embodied AI robots into ordinary households.<\/p>\n

Aimoga Robotics, a robot brand incubated by Chery Automobile, has officially started selling its latest robot products to ordinary consumers.<\/p>\n

Consumers can now directly purchase these robots, which are capable of autonomous task execution, through Aimoga’s official flagship store on JD.com.<\/p>\n

The humanoid robot carries a retail price tag of 285,800 yuan ($41,830), while a quadruped robot dog is priced at 15,800 yuan.<\/p>\n

The Chinese automaker is seeking to extend its supply chain and manufacturing advantages into the growing consumer robotics sector.<\/p>\n

In addition to online retail channels, Aimoga is also planning and advancing the rapid expansion and franchising of its offline physical sales network, according to a report<\/a> by local media outlet Lanjinger on Monday.<\/p>\n

The company is recruiting franchisees, and is not limited to traditional car dealers, the report said, citing people familiar with the matter.<\/p>\n

It has already signed agreements with more than 300 dealers at a franchise conference for the Chinese market held earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Aimoga plans to complete the construction of its first batch of domestic channel networks this year, building a mixed format consisting of specialty stores, 4S auto dealerships, and shopping mall experience stores, according to the report.<\/p>\n

To lower the purchasing barrier for ordinary consumers, Aimoga has introduced flexible business models including direct sales, long-term leasing, and installment payments.<\/p>\n

Chery established Aimoga in January 2025, marking its official entry into the humanoid robotics field.<\/p>\n

These robots are capable of adapting to complex environments, multimodal perception, and autonomous task execution, according to the company.<\/p>\n

This technological leap largely benefits from the technologies Chery has accumulated in smart cockpits, vehicle electronic architectures, and multi-modal interactions.<\/p>\n

Aimoga has been viewed by Chery Group’s senior management as a key third growth curve to drive future overall revenue growth.<\/p>\n

By the end of 2025, the company had delivered 300 humanoid robots<\/a> and 1,000 robot dogs across more than 30 countries and regions worldwide, Aimoga said.<\/p>\n

Under its established three-step roadmap, Aimoga will gradually expand from initial auto sales scenarios into the retail and supermarket sectors.<\/p>\n

The company’s ultimate strategic goal targets the broad household scenario, thereby achieving the full popularization of smart service robots among ordinary consumer groups.<\/p>\n

Besides Chery, auto giants including Changan Automobile and GAC, as well as EV startups like Xpeng<\/a>, are also developing humanoid robot products.<\/p>\n
