Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes is not one to hide his emotions when he is upset on a football pitch.<\/p>\n

A 2-1 defeat to Leeds United<\/a> was exactly what Michael Carrick was trying to avoid after Manchester United\u2019s 24-day break from Premier League<\/a> action.<\/p>\n

A Noah Okafor brace inside 30 minutes left Old Trafford stunned, and Casemiro\u2019s header in the second half proved to be just a consolation.<\/p>\n

Bruno Fernandes<\/a> added another assist to his tally, but the Portuguese playmaker was far from pleased with United\u2019s overall performance, and in one moment, he expressed his frustration at goalkeeper Senne Lammens<\/a>.<\/p>\n

United\u2019s passing was sloppy and lethargic in the first half against Leeds, and the visitors took full advantage.<\/p>\n

If anything, United were lucky to head into the break only two goals down. Lammens was spared his blushes when Lisandro Martinez made a last-ditch tackle on Ao Tanaka in the first half.<\/p>\n

It was visible at Old Trafford that Fernandes lashed out at Lammens, and it was spotted by Samuel Luckhurst<\/a>, who wrote on X: \u201cFernandes just had a right go at Lammens over his distribution. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe four changes by far the most Carrick has made to a starting XI and it seems to have completely thrown United.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fernandes made it clear that he was frustrated with Lammens passing out from the back when United repeatedly lost possession in their own half.<\/p>\n

As per SofaScore<\/a>, Lammens had a 75% pass accuracy and just a 58% accuracy on long passes against Leeds.<\/p>\n

But it was in his short passing where Lammens truly put United under pressure. In the first half in particular, the Belgian chose the wrong pass on a few occasions.<\/p>\n

Lammens played a lazy pass to Yoro which ended up with Tanaka dribbling past him and almost scoring but for a superb Martinez block.<\/p>\n

Lammens\u2019 shot-stopping was still impressive with three total saves and 0.48 goals prevented, but his passing was lacking in the first half and Fernandes let him know it.<\/p>\n
