Jeremy Jacquet has confirmed he was at Liverpool’s Champions League quarter-final first leg against Paris Saint-Germain. The 20-year-old, who will arrive at Anfield<\/a> from Rennes ahead of the 2026\/27 season in a \u00a360 million deal, is currently recovering from shoulder surgery<\/a> which seemingly gave him the chance to watch his new team in the flesh.<\/p>\n Arne Slot and his players were in France last week with the European champions putting in a dominant performance but only winning 2-0. Jacquet has since confirmed in a social media post, highlights his last few weeks, that he was in the stands for the clash.<\/p>\n Content cannot be displayed without consent<\/p>\n Other images on his Instagram <\/a>post include parts of his recovery in a swimming pool and the gym, with one snap capturing him wearing Liverpool’s away kit from the 2022\/23 season. The central defender underwent an operation in early March and is not expected to feature again this season.<\/p>\n OPINION<\/p>\n Jacquet actually picked up the injury weeks earlier and just days after having his planned move to Liverpool announced. On March 3, a statement confirming his operation read: \u201cJeremy Jacquet is set to undergo surgery.<\/p>\n “On the pitch against Lens on February 7th, Jeremy Jacquet was forced to leave the game early due to a left shoulder injury.
