The Super League referee appointments have been confirmed for round eight of the competition, where the standout game sees Hull FC host St Helens.<\/p>\n

That game is intriguing for a number of reasons but the biggest one is the status of Hull FC head coach John Cartwright, who it was confirmed last week would leave at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

Since then, the Black and Whites boss has spoken in an explosive presser<\/a> to confirm how he feels \u2018betrayed\u2019 but also confirmed that the playing group feel closer together as a result of the situation.<\/p>\n

Whether that comes to fruition and sees them defeat an injury-hampered St Helens on Thursday night is to be seen but we now know who will officiate that match with Liam Moore confirmed as the referee, whilst Tom Grant, who is currently injured, will be working alongside them as the video referee.<\/p>\n

Friday night boasts three Super League matches with the first being Hull KR\u2019s trip to Toulouse where Aaron Moore will referee, with Marcus Griffiths in support as video ref. The 8:00 pm games that night see Huddersfield Giants host Leeds Rhinos and Leigh Leopards travel to York Knights. Jack Smith will take charge at the Accu Stadium with James Vella as their video referee, whilst York\u2019s game will be officiated by Tara Jones with Liam Rush in support.<\/p>\n

There are two Saturday games with the first of those being Wakefield Trinity at home to Bradford Bulls and Catalans Dragons hosting Warrington Wolves.\u00a0Liam Rush will be in charge at Belle Vue with\u00a0Chris Kendall serving as the video referee, whilst\u00a0Marcus Griffiths will be the referee in France with\u00a0Aaron Moore working alongside.<\/p>\n

The final game of the round on Sunday sees Wigan Warriors host Castleford Tigers, a game that was played in round one of the competition when Jack Smith officiated. This time around\u00a0James Vella will be the man with the whistle, whilst\u00a0Cameron Worsley will be supporting from the video referee booth.<\/p>\n
