Mr Nicholls<\/a> said: “Our business is bang in the middle of the town, I used to ride my bike in this area when I was a kid.\n<\/p>\n\n “This whole project is trying to get kids and young people out and about on push bikes and meeting people and doing some exercise rather than sitting in front of a computer and being a nuisance.”\n<\/p>\n
What can people expect?<\/p>\n
\n Giving people an idea of what to expect at the opening, a spokesman for Tru 7 Group said: “Attendees will have the opportunity to see the completed track for the first time, speak with guests and community members, and watch the facility come to life as young riders take their first laps.\n<\/p>\n
\n “The event is designed to be family\u2011friendly and inclusive, celebrating both the sport and the positive impact of shared community spaces.”\n<\/p>\n
What is the Kesgrave Pump Track?<\/p>\n
\n In September 2024, consultations for the pump track were reopened. Kesgrave Town Council submitted an amended application for the site, meant to address residents concerns.\n<\/p>\n
\n Objectors to the plans feared that the site would become a hub for anti-social behaviour and be damaging to the local environment but the plans were unanimously approved by East Suffolk Council in November last year.\n<\/p>\n
