With three wins on the bounce, Hull KR travel to Toulouse this week in Super League.<\/p>\n
Hull KR are backing their preparation to pay off as they target another Super League victory with a quick turnaround trip to Toulouse Olympique.<\/p>\n
The Robins will jet out once again just weeks after their trip to face Catalans Dragons in Perpignan, making a second visit to France to take on the competition\u2019s newcomers for the first time this season.<\/p>\n
The reigning Super League champions are set to travel via a chartered flight, with plans to return home the same evening. The club hopes the scheduled days off that follow will be a reward for the squad if they can return to East Hull with the two points on offer.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re going in and out on the day,\u201d head coach Willie Peters confirmed.<\/p>\n
\u201cHow we wanted to approach it was similar to going to Manchester – obviously it takes a couple of hours, we go to a hotel and then we go play. The travel is two hours, albeit on a flight, and in between from the airport. We wanted to give the players some time off after, so we wanted to come back that night.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe did it a few years back against Catalans, and we couldn\u2019t do that this year due to flights and things like that – so we targeted this game.”<\/p>\n
Hull KR<\/a> head into the contest with three consecutive impressive wins, most recently securing their place in the Challenge Cup semi-finals, where they will face 2025 beaten finalists Warrington Wolves<\/a>.<\/p>\n Sylvain Houles\u2019 Toulouse meanwhile are on a stretch of five games without a win, having opened their new campaign in the top-flight with back-to-back victories over Wakefield and Castleford.<\/p>\n Despite that form, Peters insists his side will not be taking the French outfit lightly.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been impressed with Toulouse,\u201d the Hull KR boss said. \u201cI\u2019ve watched a lot of their games and they\u2019ve been in every one of them.<\/p>\n \u201cWe know what\u2019s ahead of us this week. We\u2019ve been focussing on getting our end right, making sure that we perform to the levels that we can because when we do that, we put ourselves in a strong position.<\/p>\n “We certainly respect Toulouse, what they\u2019ve done and what they\u2019ll bring – but we\u2019ll focus on what we can control.”<\/p>\n The match will mark Peters\u2019 first trip to the French side, who last featured in Super League in 2022 before being relegated back to the Championship.<\/p>\n \u201cFrom what I hear, it\u2019s a good ground to play at, good facilities and they get behind their team,” Peters added.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s about 300, 400 of our fans going over – so we\u2019re looking forward to hearing from them and giving them something to cheer about and hopefully creating a memory.<\/p>\n \u201cWe want to go in, perform well and come home with two points that night.
