A free exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery brings together a wide range of artworks, all united by one thing \u2013 they\u2019re all textiles.<\/p>\n

Among the more prominent installations is Ian Berry\u2019s Secret Garden, constructed entirely from recycled denim (and was recently<\/a> at the Garden Museum), alongside a site-specific intervention by Magda Sayeg, whose work references her role in popularising yarn bombing.<\/p>\n

London-based Benjamin Shine has two delicate side portraits that almost look like computer printing, but are carefully folded sheets of thin gauze.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Whereas Simon Pheupin\u2019s work looks from a distance to be a slice of an old tree, but is actually intricately folded sheets of fabric, and it\u2019s astonishing to think about how long it must have taken to make. Not to mention the dusting for the owner.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It\u2019s a single-room exhibition, but such is the variety on show, both technical and artistic, that it\u2019s hard not to find at least something that everyone will like.<\/p>\n

The exhibition, Textile Art Redefined<\/a>, is at the Saatchi Gallery<\/a> in Chelsea until 10th May 2026 and is free to visit.<\/p>\n
