Rochelle Humes<\/a> has finally revealed the future of The Saturdays<\/a>. The five-piece girl group stormed the charts with hits including All Fired Up and What About Us \u2013 but since 2014, they’ve been on an indefinite hiatus.<\/p>\n

However, next year will mark the 20th anniversary of the band forming, and Una Healy<\/a> recently suggested that she would love nothing more than to be back on stage celebrating with her bandmates, Rochelle, Mollie King<\/a>, Frankie Bridge<\/a> and Vanessa White<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And each year, there are rumours that The Sats will once again be dusting off their coloured tights and performing at London’s Mighty Hoopla. Now, Rochelle has finally set the record straight, admitting that the news is “disappointing”, while also saying her son Blake is “desperate” to see The Saturdays perform.<\/p>\n

“To be totally honest, we can barely get a dinner in,” she told Jamie Laing on his Great Company podcast. Rochelle added: “Our group chat is \u2013 Una’s like ‘I’m over from Ireland this week, who’s free?’ and it’ll be one of us each time.<\/p>\n

“Vanessa’s just had a baby, Mollie’s got a young family.” However, Rochelle said the group chat recently discussed a reunion. “Any time any of us announces something new, people assume it’s ‘I’m so excited to tell you this, guys, The Saturdays are back,’ then I feel like I’ve disappointed so many people.”<\/p>\n

Rochelle commented: “When there’s a Mighty Hoopla announcement, they think it’s us. The irony is JLS are doing Mighty Hoopla this year and the clues made it sound like it was us. They were raging, they were like ‘Marvin are you joking? We wanted your wife and her group.’<\/p>\n

“I’m grown enough to say never say never, we don’t close the door on it, we never have. Get us to a restaurant first, get us a cocktail.” Meanwhile, during an appearance on 2FM Morning with Laura Fox, Una said it would “be a good time” to start looking at reunion plans.<\/p>\n

The Irish star commented: “I hope so, you know that it has been 18 years now. So only two more to go. It was 2008 since the first single. The years are flying by, it’s scary. I was recently talking to Mollie and she just reminded me. She was like ‘You know it’s the big 20th now, in two years.'”<\/p>\n

She went on to say: “I always think that the noughties was ten years ago. So I think that it would be a good time. It would take time to get a tour together. I am trying to rally them all up and I want it to be all of us as well. We all do. That’s how we all collectively feel.<\/p>\n

“If we ever do anything again it would have to be all five or it wouldn’t be the same. I would just love if it was all of us.”<\/p>\n

And while there had been speculation of a fallout, Rochelle herself dismissed this, explaining that she and her bandmates have always respected one another.<\/p>\n

But should the band reform in the near future, each member has insisted that it would be a full reunion as they couldn’t see any progression without an individual.<\/p>\n
