Fans are convinced Seann Walsh will be the first campmate to leave I’m A Celebrity South Africa (Image: PA)<\/p>\n
The first campmate is set to be eliminated from I’m A Celebrity South Africa tonight (April 16). Harry Redknapp must select a member of his team to leave the camp in South Africa on Thursday’s episode.<\/p>\n
Viewers of the show took to social media <\/a>last night as they speculated comedian Seann Walsh would be the first of the 12 to get eliminated. @DPatz13 said: “Think Harry will get rid of Seann. Rather David stays for entertainment!” Pudge added: “I think Harry is going to send Seann home. Though, wouldn’t mind anyone from that team leaving.”<\/p>\n Holly posted: “I do have a feeling Seann<\/a> will be leaving. It\u2019s a shame cos he\u2019s brought a lot of comedy<\/a>” James commented: “Feel like harry will choose for Seann to go.”<\/p>\n Sam posted: “I think Seann will be going” Annie posted: “I think Seann is going home. Harry said something on the podcast like \u2018well I don\u2019t think Seann likes me\u2019”<\/p>\n Seann first took on the I’m A Celebrity challenge in 2022 when he finished in fifth place. The ECHO caught up with his fellow campmate from that season, Mike Tindall, at last week’s Grand National.<\/p>\n The rugby union legend was full of praise for his co-star as he admitted he was in disbelief that Seann took on the challenge again. He said: “I spoke to Seann Walsh before he went in and I was like, \u2018Mate, how much you hated that and now you\u2019re back\u2019.”<\/p>\n Tindall shared a story from his time in the camp when Seann almost had a breakdown as he wished him well for his time in South Africa.<\/p>\n He told the ECHO: “I\u2019ve got vivid memories, we did a night-time challenge where they basically just pulled us out of bed, you\u2019d just got back from doing another challenge, you\u2019d just washed off, you\u2019d just got yourself dry and they came in and got us again to do this night thing.<\/p>\n \u201c[Seann] just almost had a breakdown about it and the fact that he just wasn\u2019t ready for it. I was like, \u2018Mate, you\u2019ve just got to get on and get through it\u2019. He didn\u2019t want anyone to speak to him. I was like, \u2018You\u2019re going back? ‘He was like, \u2018Yeah I\u2019m going to go back.\u2019 I was like, \u2018You\u2019re an idiot\u2019 but there you go.\u201d<\/p>\n Mike Tindall spoke to the ECHO in an exclusive interview(Image: Liverpool ECHO)<\/p>\n On whether he’d consider returning to the show, he said: “I don\u2019t know. That would be where my head is right now if that question was asked.\u201d I’m A Celebrity South Africa will be broadcast on ITV<\/a> tonight at 9pm when viewers will find out if their suspicions are correct and Seann will be first to leave the show.<\/p>\n Tindall was thrilled to be back in Liverpool last week for the iconic steeplechase. He told the ECHO: “didn\u2019t think we were going to be here, but we got a last minute call up.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s got a lot of good memories for me, Aintree<\/a>, obviously with [horse he owned] Monbeg Dude in 2015 coming third and a good spin where he came seventh.
