{"id":535532,"date":"2026-04-17T07:02:10","date_gmt":"2026-04-17T07:02:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/535532\/"},"modified":"2026-04-17T07:02:10","modified_gmt":"2026-04-17T07:02:10","slug":"all-bookings-cancelled-as-major-uk-travel-company-enters-liquidation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/535532\/","title":{"rendered":"All bookings cancelled as major UK travel company enters liquidation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk\/company\/07069838?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Regen Central Ltd<\/a> was a UK travel agency founded in Hertfordshire in 2009, which later relocated its registered office to London and traded under brands including Regen Travels, One Haji and Umrah, and Oneworld Travels.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The company lost its Air <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heraldscotland.com\/life_style\/travel\/?ref=au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Travel<\/a> Organiser\u2019s Licence (ATOL 11020) on January 13 2026, and has since entered liquidation and ceased trading, with all future trips cancelled.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Read More:\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  A spokesman for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.caa.co.uk\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)<\/a> said: &#8220;We understand the company had no outstanding ATOL-protected bookings. Bookings sold as accommodation only, non- flight packages, and flight only bookings for which tickets were issued are not protected by the ATOL scheme.
