Wakefield Trinity have been dealt two injury blows in their forward pack following the defeat to Wigan Warriors in the Challenge Cup.<\/p>\n

Jazz Tevaga was undoubtedly the most talked-about player following that match after his incident with Wigan\u2019s Liam Marshall.<\/p>\n

After making a tackle, Tevaga\u2019s leg was caught under Marshall\u2019s body, causing extreme pain. As a reaction, Tevaga kicked out at the Wiganer, making contact and as a result was sent for 10 minutes in the sin-bin.<\/p>\n

The Wakefield enforcer was handed a two-match ban following that incident, but head coach Daryl Powell has confirmed that he will be out for longer than that due to injury suffered in the tackle.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, it is what it is,\u201d Powell said regarding the ban. \u201cI think he\u2019s going to be out for longer than that with the injury\u00a0that he sustained in the incident.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s a four to six week injury, so the ban\u00a0and is kind of irrelevant for Jazz now with that injury. I spoke about it last week and\u00a0moved on from that now. I think Pittsy been doing an awesome job at 13 and he\u2019ll continue\u00a0to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Asked what the injury was specifically, he revealed: He\u2019s hyper-extended his knee there. He had a scan, he\u2019s in a brace\u00a0at the moment. It might be four weeks, it might be six weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fellow forward Isaiah Vagana has been in sensational form over the past few weeks, but he has unfortunately suffered \u201ca couple of bits\u201d, and is an absentee in this week\u2019s squad to face Bradford Bulls.<\/p>\n

Vagana has averaged over 90 metres per game this season, with his best game coming against Castleford Tigers where he ran for 157 metres.<\/p>\n

The boss said: \u201cHe played on last week, but he had a bit of a shoulder\u00a0problem and a bit of an ankle problem. He\u2019s had scans. There\u2019s nothing major in either of\u00a0them.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe probably misses a couple of weeks, just to get him sorted. He\u2019s played massive minutes\u00a0for us and he\u2019s been phenomenal.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vagana has been sharing the back row position with Seth Nikotemo and Matty Storton, and the three have become quite a force for Powell\u2019s side, something the boss will now have to navigate in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re both excellent back rowers [Storton and Nikotemo],\u201d Powell added. \u201cI\u2019m looking\u00a0forward to seeing both of them play. It\u2019ll be a big miss for us, but these guys minimise\u00a0that miss with how good they are.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2026Isaiah couldn\u2019t play [through injury]. He needs a bit of time to recover. They\u2019re not massive injuries,\u00a0but he won\u2019t be able to play.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wakefield Trinity welcome back prop for Bradford Bulls clash<\/p>\n

In a boost to Trinity\u2019s pack, Caius Faatili returns to the side this week after missing the last two.<\/p>\n

Powell revealed that the 24-year-old could have featured last week, but he didn\u2019t want to risk the forward given the rest of healthy bodies in the squad.<\/p>\n

He said: \u00a0\u201cHe\u2019s an awesome guy, isn\u2019t he [Faatili]? He had a little bit of an injury there\u00a0that he\u2019s recovered from.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was pretty keen to play last week, but I felt like Trey [Lolesio] had\u00a0been really good for us and deserved another go whilst Caius was maybe 85-90 per cent fit. I felt it was the right thing to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
