Jonny Greenwood<\/a> has revealed which Radiohead<\/a> song he would have liked to change.<\/p>\n

In a new interview with Mojo Magazine<\/a>, the guitarist shared that he pushed for the \u2018In Rainbows\u2019 track \u2018House of Cards\u2019 to have a more punk arrangement during the recording process.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are songs I feel like we could have better arrangements for, but everyone else seems to like. I was convinced that \u2018House of Cards\u2019 should sound like an Iggy Pop<\/a> track,\u201d he told the magazine.<\/p>\n

However, he says he\u2019s now glad that the fan-favourite track ended up the way it did, adding: \u201cBut I can accept that it would probably have killed something beautiful and tender.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the interview, Greenwood said that Radiohead\u2019s return to touring was \u201cincredible\u201d. It comes after the iconic British band\u00a0returned to the stage last year<\/a>\u00a0for what marked their first live dates in seven years \u2013 kicking off across Europe at the end of 2025, and including a four-night residency at The O2 in London.<\/p>\n

The tour\u00a0saw them\u00a0play in the round<\/a>, picking from a\u00a0range of 65 songs every night<\/a>. \u201cYou hear of other bands getting together and having multiple managers and multiple sound people. We seem very blessed,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

He went on to say that he missed making new music with the band, with their\u00a0latest full-length record,\u00a0\u2018A Moon Shaped Pool\u2019<\/a>, released in 2016.<\/p>\n

It comes after all five members of Radiohead formed a new private limited company in February<\/a>, suggesting that the band were planning something in the near future. Their latest full-length record,\u00a0\u2018A Moon Shaped Pool\u2019<\/a>, was released in 2016.<\/p>\n

In a previous interview, Greenwood acknowledged that all members are \u201cdoing new music elsewhere now\u201d \u2013 with the guitarist recently nominated for an Oscar<\/a>\u00a0for scoring\u00a0One Battle After Another<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At the time, he went on to say that he had \u201cno idea\u201d whether Radiohead might release new material. \u201cI mean, I\u2019m surprised that the tour actually happened and that we all enjoyed it so much,\u201d he said. \u201cBut venues get booked so far in advance. To do another we would have to decide now, and even then it wouldn\u2019t happen for 18 months.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ed O\u2019Brien also recently revealed that Radiohead have plans to hit the road in 2027 and beyond<\/a>.\u00a0\u201cWhat\u00a0we\u2019re\u00a0going to do is, every year\u00a0we\u2019re\u00a0going to do a different continent, and\u00a0we\u2019re\u00a0going to do 20 shows each year. No more, no less,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u00a0won\u2019t\u00a0do anything this year, but\u00a0we\u2019ll\u00a0do something next year.\u201d<\/p>\n

O\u2019Brien\u00a0is releasing his second solo album \u2018Blue Morpho<\/a>\u2019 on May 22 and\u00a0will be touring around the UK and Europe in October<\/a>. He also recently confirmed that Thom Yorke will be releasing a solo album this year<\/a>, although that has not yet been announced.<\/p>\n
