Saffron Pastries is recalling 25 products that \u201cmay have been contaminated by rodents, making them unsafe to eat\u201d. Rodents such as mice and rats can carry bacteria, viruses and parasites that are spread via urine, droppings and saliva.<\/p>\n<p>A notice issued by the Food Standards Agency on behalf of the manufacturer said: \u201cWe are recalling saffron pastries products due to physical contamination from pest activity. This poses a safety risk to customers.\u201d The FSA added: \u201cIf you have bought the above products, do not eat them.
