EU exports \u200bto China \u200bwere also down.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">A year \u200bago, EU exporters had \u200cbegun front-loading shipments to the U.S. in anticipation of President Donald Trump&#8217;s tariffs, inflating the export figures for early 2025 and potentially explaining February&#8217;s sharp decline.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">Exports to the United States in February 2025 \u200crose by 22.4% year-on-year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">On February \u200b20, the U.S. Supreme Court \u200bstruck down Trump&#8217;s \u200bsweeping tariffs, which he had pursued \u200cunder a law meant for \u200buse in \u200bnational emergencies.
