Svitolina had lost the two previous meetings against Noskova, but she took the lead after dominating the first set tiebreak. She was broken when serving for the match initially, but she succeeded at the second attempt to win 7-6 (2) 7-5 after one hour and 40 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>She now faces Karolina Muchova after she beat Coco Gauff. The Czech had significantly struggled in their previous matches, trailing Gauff 6-0 in the head-to-head. However, she made a confident start and largely controlled the first set. The pair exchanged breaks in the second, but Gauff would prevail to level the match up.
