A mum of five ihas lost more than six stone without the use of weight loss jabs. Carly Banthorp of Haughley, near Stowmarket, has lost 6st 9lbs, leaving her with more energy to care for her children, work full-time and volunteer for groups.<\/p>\n

The 36 year old had reached a point where her health and well-being were affecting her daily life, including difficulties with sleep, ongoing fatigue and persistent pain. \u201cI hated the way I looked,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd I lacked energy to play with my children, my hip was always hurting, and I had lost all my confidence. I knew something had to change and I needed to put my health first.\u201d<\/p>\n

She was initially worried about having to overhaul her family\u2019s meals, but after joining the Slimming World group in Bury St Edmunds, she discovered the eating plan included many of their favourites.<\/p>\n

\u201cSeeing pasta on the menu was a win-win as my kids and I love it,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s been great getting recipe ideas and making sauces from scratch. I love our group and stay every week for support and motivation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Slimming World consultant Helen said the change in Carly has been significant. \u201cThe difference in Carly is amazing,\u201d she said. \u201cShe oozes confidence, her smile is back and she is a role model for her children.
