Bethenny Frankel is getting loud.<\/p>\n
The \u201cReal Housewives of New York City\u201d alum slammed Chanel\u2019s \u201celitism\u201d after Jennifer Lopez was denied from one of the brand\u2019s stores<\/a> in Istanbul on Monday.<\/p>\n The ex-Bravolebrity, who experienced her own rejection<\/a> by the same designer last year, addressed Lopez\u2019s rebuff \u2014 and the singer\u2019s \u201cunfazed and unbothered\u201d reaction \u2014 via TikTok<\/a> Friday.<\/p>\n Bethenny Frankel weighed in on Jennifer Lopez being denied entry at Chanel after her own rejection. BACKGRID<\/p>\n Frankel, 54, pointed out that perhaps the retail location simply \u201cdidn\u2019t realize who [Lopez] was or they were full, et cetera\u201d but questioned how the \u201cperson at the door\u201d treated her.<\/p>\n The former reality star recalled being spoken to in a \u201cvery condescending\u201d way through a \u201ccrack in the door\u201d when she was turned away from a Chanel retail location in Chicago in May 2024.<\/p>\n \u201cI looked like an absolute train wreck, and they definitely wouldn\u2019t have known who I was,\u201d she remembered, guessing that Lopez, 56, \u201clooked like a glamazon.\u201d<\/p>\n Frankel slammed the store\u2019s \u201celitism\u201d via TikTok on Friday. In 2025 you get more press for not letting J. Lo in than you do if you did.\u201d <\/p>\n She stressed that the \u201cOn the Floor\u201d singer \u201cis a customer you want to have in your store [because] she\u2019s definitely going to buy.\u201d<\/p>\n Reps for Chanel and Lopez have yet to respond to Page Six\u2019s requests for comment.<\/p>\n The Grammy nominee, who calmly left Chanel on Monday and proceeded to spend a reported tens of thousands of dollars at Celine and Beymen instead, wore a pink set and matching sunglasses when she was turned away.<\/p>\n Frankel was refused entry at a Chanel store in Chicago in May 2024 while dressed \u201clike a trainwreck.\u201d TikTok\/@bethennyfrankel<\/p>\n Frankel was let in the following day in a new outfit of designer duds but dissed the brand by walking right out.
