The delay was seen as a reaction to the assassination of conservative pundit Charlie Kirk two weeks prior.<\/p>\n<p>Chastain leads the show as a top-secret undercover investigator, nicknamed \u2018The Savant,\u2019 who infiltrates online hate groups and takes them down from the inside \u2013 stopping domestic extremists before they can act.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking with <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/marcmalkin\/status\/2045699289452785779\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Variety<\/a> this weekend at the Breakthrough Prize ceremony in Santa Monica, she said the show\u2019s fate has gone from being in doubt to sometime in the near future:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBefore it was like, \u2018I don\u2019t know if we\u2019re going to see it,\u2019 but now I can say, \u2018We\u2019re going to see it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The trade\u2019s reporter indicates that, according to their sources, the project is now aiming for a July release.
