I’m A Celeb star Adam Thomas<\/a>‘ loyal brother Scott<\/a> has reacted after he shared a heartbreaking post about how boxer David Haye<\/a> “broke” him during his time on the show in South Africa. The former Love Island<\/a> star and actor, 37, are twins and have an older brother, Coronation Street<\/a> star Ryan Thomas<\/a>, 41.<\/p>\n The jungle star – who has arthritis<\/a> – posted a long message tonight that included the passage: “He broke me in there, he pushed me to my limits, and I\u2019ve told David this and he\u2019s apologised and that\u2019s that! You\u2019re one of the kindest men I know, if my little boy ends up being as caring as you then I know I\u2019ll have done a good job a mam. Lots of love.”<\/p>\n In a long message shared this evening, Adam shared a picture of him looking sad on his camp bed during his time in South Africa. He wrote: “Not going to lie, this picture breaks my heart, as I know on the inside what I was dealing with and truth be told I thought it was all my fault. I now know that\u2019s not the reality\u2026<\/p>\n “My time in I\u2019m a Celebrity South Africa was one of the toughest things I\u2019ve ever been through, physically, mentally, and emotionally.<\/p>\n Adam has a twin called Scott and an older brother called Ryan(Image: ryanthomas84\/Instagram)<\/p>\n Adam has been supported by his brothers and I’m A Celeb co-stars tonight(Image: ITV\/Shutterstock)<\/p>\n “Watching it back hasn\u2019t been easy at all. There were moments I felt pushed to my absolute limit, and if I\u2019m honest, times I didn\u2019t even recognise myself. Living with arthritis<\/a> is something I don\u2019t really talk about, as much as I should do\u2026but in there it really took its toll. My biggest fight was pretending to put on a brave face and trying to hide the pain! that can be exhausting within itself. There were days my body just didn\u2019t want to keep going, but I did.<\/p>\n “I won\u2019t sit here and say I handled everything perfectly, because I didn\u2019t. I wish I spoke up for myself sooner. I wish I stood my ground instead of trying to keep the peace, but I\u2019ve learned that being kind doesn\u2019t mean being weak, and sometimes it takes going through tough moments to find your voice.<\/p>\n “Since coming out, I\u2019ve taken time to process everything, and I\u2019m in a much better place now. I let go of the anger, had the conversations I needed to have, and chose peace.<\/p>\n “What I\u2019m most proud of, is at times like this I wanted to walk, I wanted to quit but I didn\u2019t. Even when I wanted to walk away, even when it felt like too much, I never give up! and that means everything to me.<\/p>\n “He broke me in there, he pushed me to my limits, and I\u2019ve told David this and he\u2019s apologised and that\u2019s that! I\u2019ve moved on now, am not one to hold a grudge. But thank you for all your lovely messages and all the kind words.”<\/p>\n He concluded: “We all face people and situations that try to break us, but sometimes those moments are what rebuild you stronger than ever.
