“I thought he brought a lot of energy when he came on, and that\u2019s what we wanted from him. He\u2019s earned that, he\u2019s worked hard to get in the team,” Peters said after the game.<\/p>\n
“He gives us a really good headache in terms of our pack and what we\u2019ve got available. That\u2019s what we want.<\/p>\n
“We have to make sure that when players are playing reserve-grade or whenever they\u2019re playing, they\u2019re putting their best foot forward, Jordan has been doing that in training, and got his opportunity tonight.”<\/p>\n
Bill Leyland was another who was given the chance to impress for the Robins and he featured for the first time since his Good Friday heroics in the colours of St Helens, scoring two late tries for Paul Rowley’s side during a one-week loan.<\/p>\n
“Bill was a perfect example of what he\u2019s done in reserves, and what he did for St Helens,” Peters added. “It was difficult – he didn\u2019t get dropped as such, he played well against Catalans.
